Ingredients
Pancakes!
- 1 ½ cups all motive flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbs honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk (I used Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze)
Eggs!
- 1 ½ cup egg whites, divided
- ¼ tsp salt
- sprinkle of pepper
Sausage, Cheese, and Syrup!
- 8 sausage patties (I used Morninstar Farms patties and sliced them in half), heated in step with package guidelines
- sixteen small, thin slices of your favorite cheese, approximately 7 oztotal (I used gouda)
- Pure maple syrup (optionally available)
Instructions
- In a huge bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until mixed. In a small bowl, whisk the vanilla extract, honey, eggs, and milk until combined. Pour the wet components into the dry components. Stir until the batter comes together. Add a tablespoon or two of milk if you like thinner pancakes.
- Spray a large sauté pan or griddle with cooking spray and produce to medium heat. Drop about 1 tbs portions of batter onto the pan or griddle. Cook the pancakes for approximately 1 minute on every facet or till cooked to your liking. Place pancakes on a plate and set apart.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg whites with the salt and pepper. Pour half of of the aggregate right into a huge sauté pan (experience free to use the equal one) over medium warmness. Cook the egg whites for 2-3 mins on 1 facet. Then, turn the egg whites the use of a large spatula and prepare dinner for a minute on the alternative side. You have to have one big egg white patty.
