Maple Caramel Bacon Crack Breakfast

Ingredients
  •     1 lb. Bacon
  •     1 pkg Pillsbury crescent rolls
  •     ½ cup maple syrup
  •     ¾ cup brown sugar

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet (like a 15x10) with parchment paper and lightly grease the parchment with cooking spray. NOTE: this recipe turned into at first made with foil. Since human beings have had issues with the foil, I advise using parchment paper. Unroll the crescent rolls into one single aircraft of dough and pinch any perforations together to seal. Stretch the dough out to healthy the size of the pan together with your palms so it's even. Prick the dough with a fork throughout. Set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare dinner your bacon. I like cooking mine in a skillet, but you can bake it - whichever you select. Cook it till it is technically secure sufficient to devour and just about carried out, but nonetheless lighter in color and no longer quite crispy. You don't need it absolutely cooked and crispy as it will retain to prepare dinner in the oven. I pulled mine out of the pan right after they had been a medium-crimson shade. Drain the bacon on a paper towel-coated plate.
  3. Drizzle ¼th cup of the maple syrup over the crescent roll dough. Sprinkle with about ¼th cup of the brown sugar. Top with torn portions of the cooked bacon. Drizzle the remaining maple syrup on top of the bacon portions, and pinnacle with the closing brown sugar.
  4. Bake for approx. 25 mins or until bubbling and caramelized. Remove from the oven and permit the pan to come to room temperature or heat to the touch earlier than reducing or breaking into pieces. You can serve this at room temperature or barely warmed. It tastes pleasant the day of, however can be eaten tomorrow if stored hermetic.
