Hash Browns Breakfast Stacks





I’m someone who believes that breakfast is the maximum essential meal of the day. I love all styles of breakfast foods – and now and again my largest project of the morning is deciding which delicious breakfast ingredients to make!  Do I even have scrambled eggs and hash browns? Or maybe sausage and gravy with biscuits? (And don’t forget the cheese!)

Ingredients
Sausage gravy

  •     1 tablespoon butter
  •     2 candy Italian sausage links, about 1/three of a pound
  •     4 even tablespoons all-purpose flour
  •     ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
  •     Few grinds sparkling nutmeg
  •     ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  •     ¼ teaspoon white pepper
  •     2 cups entire milk

Remaining substances

  •     1 20-ounce bag Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns
  •     4 tablespoons butter melted
  •     Kitchen pan spray
  •     6 complete eggs
  •     ¼ cup complete milk
  •     6 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  •     Chopped chives for garnish, elective

Instructions

  1. Make the sausage gravy by way of melting the only tablespoon of butter in a medium sauce pan over medium high heat.
  2. Remove the sausage meat from the casings and place inside the pan with the butter. Stir with a timber spoon until browned and crumbled, approximately three mins.
  3. Add the flour, mustard, nutmeg, salt and pepper and stir and prepare dinner for 2 minutes.
  4. Add cold milk one third at a time and whip with a whisk among each 1/3.
  5. Adjust by adding more milk if you like the gravy thinner. Set apart on a low flame.
  6. Divide the shredded potatoes into nine quantities approximately ½ cup every.
  7. Using a 4 inch cookie cutter, vicinity every component into the cutter and press with the back of a spoon to shape 9 spherical discs.

  12. Mix eggs with milk and in a big skillet, prepare dinner scrambled eggs by using first spraying pan with spray.
  13. To assemble, place one disc on every of three plates and top every with one 6th of the eggs and one as soon as of cheese. Place a 2nd disc over the cheese and repeat with the final eggs and cheese. Top with the last 3 discs and pour the sausage gravy over the top.
  14. Finally pinnacle with the non-compulsory chopped chives and serve.
