Taco Casserole with Macaroni and Cheese Breakfast




Ingredients
  •     1 lb floor pork
  •     1 packet taco seasoning
  •     3/4 cup water
  •     7.25 ouncesbox macaroni and cheese like the sort within the blue box
  •     4 tbsp butter
  •     1/3 cup milk
  •     1/3 cup bitter cream
  •     1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  •     1 cup salsa

Instructions
 

  1. Brown ground red meat in skillet, drain grease. Add taco seasoning and water and simmer until maximum liquid is absorbed.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare macaroni and cheese according to container guidelines the use of the butter, milk, and cheese packet. Stir in sour cream to the macaroni and cheese.
  3. Spread 1/2 of the macaroni and cheese on the bottom of a 2 quart baking dish. Top with meat and sprinkle half cup shredded cheese. Add second 1/2 of macaroni and cheese.
  4. Cover and bake at 400 for 15 mins.
  5. Remove foil and unfold salsa over top. Sprinkle closing 1/2 cup shredded cheese over salsa. Bake an extra 5 minutes or till cheese is melted.
