One-Pot Sausage and Red Rice Breakfast

Ingredients
  •     1 pound smoked pork sausage
  •     1 onion, chopped
  •     1 small inexperienced bell pepper, chopped
  •     1 tsp creole seasoning
  •     2 eight ouncescans of tomato sauce
  •     1½ cups water
  •     2 cups medium-grain rice





How to make One-Pot Sausage and Red Rice
  •     Brown your sausage.  Remove.
  •     Brown your onions and peppers.
  •     Add sausage, tomato sauce, rice, and water.
  •     Let aggregate come to a boil and decrease to low.
  •     Simmer protected and then experience!  EASY!

Tips for Cooking One-Pot Meals with Rice:

  1. I use a medium-grain rice.  Increase cooking time for an extended-grain rice.
        
  2. After including rice and bringing it to a boil, make sure to reduce warmness to LOW.
        
  3. Do now not raise the lid to test the rice before 20 mins.
        
  4. If after 20-25 minutes, rice remains no longer cooked, add a bit greater water and cover for 5 extra minutes.

Instructions
  1. In a massive pot, brown sausage over medium-excessive warmth. Remove from pan to a paper towel-coated plate.
