Total comfort and a whole lot of flavor! Delicious warm sub sandwich full of bird, cheese, and home made white BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
- White BBQ Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 Tbsp white vinegar
- half of Tbsp clean cracked white pepper
- half of Tbsp Creole mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 large garlic cloves
- 2 tsp horseradish
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- half of tsp paprika
- Sandwich:
- 6-8 bird tenders
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil for cooking
- Salt and pepper
- 2 huge shallots sliced
- 1 half of cups shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
- 2 French bread subs
- About 1/2 cup white BBQ sauce extra for dipping or drizzling
Instructions
- Mix all components for the white BBQ sauce and refrigerate till geared up to use.
- Cook fowl tenders in a saute pan with a few salt and pepper, till executed. Add shallots about 1/2 manner via cooking the fowl.
- Let fowl tenders cool until it is able to be dealt with. Chop chicken and area it in a blending bowl.
- Add cooked onions, cheese and white BBQ sauce to the hen. Mix properly.
- Slice bread within the center to stuff it. (Don't reduce all the way through.)
- Divide hen mixture between the subs.
- Sprinkle some more cheese over the top.
- Place subs on a baking sheet and pa them beneath a broiler till cheese is melted. (Keep a watch on it so it doesn't burn.)
- You can drizzle a little extra white BBQ on pinnacle and serve right away.
